About me
Ms. Colliersmith received her law degree from the Fredric G. Levin College of Law at the University of Florida and has practiced exclusively consumer and small business bankruptcy law since 2001. She has been an active member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys for many years.She is the past president of the Metro Atlanta Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Group and former NACBA State Co-Chair for Georgia. She is a member of the Bankruptcy Section of the Georgia Bar and is or has been a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Cobb Bar Association, Lawyer's Club of Atlanta and the American Bankruptcy Institute. She is a frequent speaker and panelist at bankruptcy and other continuing legal education seminars.She is a member of the NACBA Advocate team and recipient of both the K. Colleen Nunnelly Award and Hammes-Shulman Legislative Advocate Award. In years 2014 and 2015, she testified before the State House Judiciary Committee on Consumer Protection and Debt Settlement issues. She is a mentor attorney with the Bankruptcy Assistance Practice Program, (Law Clinic) at Georgia State University College of Law.
