Jenny L. Doling is the Secretary of NACBA and will be the incoming Vice President in 2025. She has served on its Board of Directors since 2018. Before serving on the Board, she was the NACBA State Chair for California. Ms. Doling is a California State Bar Certified Bankruptcy Specialist and a staunch advocate for Consumer and Debtor Rights, representing clients in personal and business bankruptcy since 2000. She is also a Tax Attorney with her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of San Diego. She handles tax controversy matters throughout the United States. Ms. Doling was appointed to a 3-year term on the Judicial Conference Rules Committee in 2023 by U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Robert. She was honored with the National Distinguished Service Award in 2013 by the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. In addition, she was honored with the Hammes-Shulman Legislative Advocate Award in 2016 for her tireless efforts in working to increase the California Homestead Exemption laws. Most recently, The San Diego Business Journal selected Ms. Doling as a 2023 Women of Influence in Law Honoree. She is also the President of the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum. She has testified before the California State Senate and Assembly supporting SB 308, AB 1885, and SB 1099, legislation to improve California's exemptions.

Ms. Doling has protected thousands of clients from overreaching creditors, collection harassment, wage garnishments, and unlawful foreclosures. She is passionate about her work. She cares about her clients, and she offers that strength and clarity during a time when her clients need an advocate. She helps to devise an individually tailored plan for every client. Ms. Doling receives approximately 63% of her business from past clients and other attorneys. Ms. Doling believes a referral is the best compliment a business owner can receive.

Ms. Doling is the founding Member of J. DOLING LAW, PC a highly respected bankruptcy and tax firm serving California. She has been the Professor of Bankruptcy Law at the California Desert Trial Academy since 2015. In addition, she speaks nationally on trending bankruptcy issues. She has been a panel speaker for NACBA, NACTT, NCBJ, ABI, SDBF and IEBF.
